PSN is back up. Multiplayer is available, but store is down. Also a rant.

In addition to this news customers will be able to pick 2 games from a list of 5 for free, but you have to claim them within 30 days of the PSN being restored.

This part is a Rant:
 This is a nice bit of news, but I'm still upset by the fact that they removed the OtherOS feature and that they haven't made a substitute for it like an app store. For a console that "does everything" it is real fucking shitty. The browser is garbage, 240p youtube videos, many video sites don't work, streaming doesn't work, pages don't display correctly, and overall it is a pile of shit. The Netflix app is okay, but Sony decided to shove their dick in it by forcing you to sign in to the PSN to use it. I know that you could get around this during the outage, but before the outage you couldn't use it unless you updated the PS3 which is a pain in the ass if you just want to watch a fucking movie. Overall, I would like to say that I am glad that this bad news happened to Sony even though it won't change shit.

The War on Drugs and 36,000 dead in just 4 years.

Why is this happening? Decapitated bodies, dead children, and many other atrocities are happening in Mexico over drugs. Looking at the pictures is just disturbing. I really hope the U.S.does something about this rather than eating shit like it usually does. Elections should be about the person most qualified to do the job, and not about how much ass they kiss. It is really sad to see the state of affairs going on South of the American border. The pictures are too graphic for my blog, but feel free to do an image search on the "Mexican War on Terror".

Playing Dead Space 2

I loved the original Dead Space because it reminded me so much of System Shock 2. The second game is good too, but it feels like they haven't added much. It feels very much like the original Dead Space with some slight upgrades. I am only four hours into the game, but the experience has been good. I will post again when I finish it.
